We’re seeking an ITIL change manager who is responsible for managing the IT changes queue and ensuring changes are made efficiently, with minimum risk to the organization. A change manager should, ideally, facilitate change(s), not stop it. An effective change manager allows IT changes to be moved quickly to the production environment. The change manager has a duty to protect the IT systems of the organization, ensuring the changes that are made do not present an unacceptable risk. He or she must look for conflicts in active changes and determine the most appropriate time to commit changes to the production systems.

In the ITIL® framework, the change manager is responsible for managing the lifecycle of all changes, with the primary responsibility of enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimal disruption to the business. The change manager will convene and chair the change advisory board (CAB) and emergency change (eCAB), ensuring the information presented to these groups is complete and provides them with the information they need to make informed decisions about the changes, prioritizing and approving them, or rejecting them.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Create and support the establishment of a common ITIL change management practice across the organization to serve and support the successful delivery of technology based IT change initiatives Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  • Guarantee end to end execution of IT changes according to established and agreed upon Change management procedures. Take ownership throughout change lifecycle management and ensure progress is realized according defined KPI’s.
  • Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) meetings 
  • Communicate all Change management related activities
  • Ensure changes are executed upon approval, update the remedy case & after successful completion ensure closure status has been registered. Finally ensure changes have been documented as final status of the ITIL change procedure and its implementation
  • Create periodic reports about Change management, release management and discuss with the responsible IT Services Manager & during CAB/ECAB
  • Organize bi-weekly operational meeting with affected stakeholders (Software and Infrastructure) and Services Desk governance profiles (Problem Manager – Change Manager)



  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university within Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years work experience performing substantially essential functions

  • Must possess a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrates deep exposure to ITSM applications and ITIL processes
  • Experience in a multinational organization with an international scope
  • Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management, and follow up skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility, drive, initiative and a proven ability to obtain timely and quality results
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving skills
  • Must be team oriented and possess a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates a desire and commitment to promote and share the TVH mission, vision, values, and culture
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
