BI - Product Owner 



As BI Product Owner you are globally responsible to envision what needs to be built for your product in the short and long term to enable the business strategy. 
You translate that vision into a mission board, epics and tickets and set up a valid product metric. 
You determine this product vision and strategy in close collaboration with the business stakeholders. 


Your responsibilities are among others: 


  • Defining the scope and analyzing the impact of specific projects;
  • Creating the mission board containing priority projects, status, deadline and metrics in order to have a clear product roadmap;
  • Collaborating with the chapter leads and the data architect to determine the product architecture;
  • Organizing sprint reviews and acting as a knowledge hub and a proxy of the business in the squad in order to assure that the product development meets the business quality standards;
  • Challenging your business stakeholders and proposing alternative solutions; 
  • Managing and prioritizing the product and sprint backlog in order to build sprints according to the priorities in the mission board; 
  • Breaking down the epic in a valuable request of actionable shape and designing future proof report/data solutions that take into account the global context of all different divisions.






  • A Masters degree in IT or business economics or equivalent by experience; 
  • +2 years of relevant experience in functional analysis, business process management or project management;
  • A general base knowledge of BI;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Strong communicative skills and ability to adapt your style depending on the situation;
  • Positive and open attitude with a strong sense of commitment; 
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to prioritize correctly; 
  • Ability to manage, motivate and coach squad members from a non-hierarchical position.
