Business Development Agent Africa & Mediterranean 

Job Summary


As a Business Development Agent, you are responsible for the realization of the set sales targets for the designated region by means of active sales and prospecting. 


Your responsibilities will be the following:


  • The maintenance and further development of the commercial contacts with new and existing customers.

  • The active sales and promotion of the complete product portfolio in order to stimulate the sales.

  • Taking the lead with the development of new markets/segments for both new and existing customers, in order to differentiate and expand the basis.

  • Carrying out business trips, according to the needs and objectives of the Team, with a view to maintaining a close commercial relationship with own customer portfolio.

  • Contacting and mapping new customers.

  • The responsibility for the creation of quality reports. 

  • Together with the team’s sales leadership, performing in-depth market analysis and monitoring the day-to-day evolutions of the market on our core domains/products.

  • Acting as the internal contact with customers and the various departments/functions to provide the best guaranteed service to our customers.

  • The interpretation, following up and administratively processing of incoming requests for offers and orders. 

Preferred Qualifications


  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience. You have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in spare parts/equipment in relevant industries.

  • You have a very good knowledge of English and Greek.

  • You have knowledge of the current market and how to expand market share with new customers.

  • You have the ability to work out sales objectives and strategies for assigned customers within the defined region. 

  • You have a proven record of achieving KPI’s and targets.

  • You take initiative, think along with us how you can further develop your regions and act proactively in this respect.

  • You are persistent and do not give up in the face of adversity.

  • You are a team player who can work independently.

  • You are self-motivated, well-organized and committed to the Company’s We Are One values.

  • You are administratively strong and are responsible for a good follow-up of the leads.
